14 Kuki hostages released by Naga groups after a month in Manipur

Nearly a month after being abducted, 14 Kuki hostages were released on Tuesday in Manipur's Senapati district. The release comes as a result of weeks of negotiations involving church bodies, civil groups, and government authorities after three Kuki-Zo church leaders and a Naga man were killed on May 13. Earlier, both sides had released 14 hostages each on May 15.
