A 14-year-old boy in the US is being honoured for helping an elderly woman with dementia who wandered miles off course amid potentially harmful temperatures of around 40°C. The boy was riding his bike when he spotted the 76-year-old woman disoriented on her way home. The boy led her to shade and helped her remember her son's phone number.
