The ghats of Varanasi were illuminated on Wednesday evening as more than 15 lakh earthen diyas lit up both banks of the Ganga on Dev Deepawali. PM Modi shared aerial images of the festivities on X with a caption, "Spectacular Dev Deepawali in Kashi!" The pictures showed the ghats decorated in golden hues with a backdrop of fireworks in sky.
