About 1,500 bakers and chefs in Kerala baked the world's longest-ever cake measuring about 6.5 kilometres and created a new Guinness World Record on Thursday. The cake was four inches wide and thick and weighed in at about 27,000 kilograms. The previous world record was held by Chinese bakers who made a fruitcake almost 3.2 kilometres long in 2018.
