Sixteen people died in Kenya during anti-government protests and most of them were killed by police, head of Amnesty Kenya, Irungu Houghton said. The deaths happened as thousands of Kenyans took to the streets to commemorate last year's demonstrations against a tax bill. Kenya's Human Rights Commission alleged that over 400 people have been injured in the protests.
