16-yr-old Indian-origin climber falls 500 feet from mountain in US; survives

Gurbaz Singh, a 16-year-old Indian-origin mountain climber from Canada survived after a 500-feet fall from the 11,240 feet Mount Hood in Oregon, US. Singh suffered a broken leg which required surgery. It took rescue crews about four hours to reach the teen and another four to carry him down the mountain on a stretcher.
