Seventeen fishermen were rescued from the Arabian Sea near the Kozhikode coast following a mechanical failure of their fishing vessel on August 1. The vessel, which had departed from Beypore Harbour, became stranded due to engine issues. Local authorities and Coastal Police collaborated effectively to bring the entire crew ashore safely, with no serious injuries reported.
