Ministry of Finance announced that 17 states have implemented the "One Nation One Ration Card system (ONORC)" with Uttarakhand being the latest. The states which implement the system are eligible for additional borrowing of 0.25% of Gross State Domestic Product. These states have been granted additional borrowing permission of ₹37,600 crore by the Department of Expenditure, the government said.
