A 17-year-old boy, Appaji Gowda, drowned while swimming with friends in Bodur village of Karnataka's Koppal district. The teenager reportedly slipped into a deeper section of the water and went missing. Firefighters and rescue teams rushed to the spot and launched a search operation. The incident, which falls under the jurisdiction of Kushtagi Police Station, has shocked local residents.
