Details of the Kolkata tragedy reminds India of the death of a 26-year-old senior doctor from Delhi who was allegedly drugged, raped, and even strangulated. 17 years on, Dr Kavita (name changed) is yet to get justice for what happened with her that night on September 20, 2007. She slipped into a coma after the incident, died a year later.
