1,700-year-old Roman egg found to have yolk inside; pic released

A 1,700-year-old chicken's egg discovered in a Roman pit in the UK is thought to be the only one of its type in the world. A scan revealed the egg still has liquid – thought to be a mix of yolk and albumen. The egg is one of four found alongside other items in a dig between 2007 and 2016.
