17th judge recuses from hearing IFS officer Sanjiv Chaturvedi's cases in 13 yrs

A judicial member of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) recused himself from hearing a plea filed by Uttarakhand-cadre Indian Forest Service officer Sanjiv Chaturvedi. This takes the reported number of judges who've stepped aside from his cases to 17. The latest recusal relates to his challenge to a November 2021 Uttarakhand government order on appraisal report channel for IFS officers.
