A 17-year-old girl gave birth to a baby girl weighing 325 gm, which is believed to be the UK's smallest baby in 20 years. The baby was born prematurely on December 30, after 25 weeks of pregnancy. The girl and her 21-year-old partner were told that the baby had a "next-to-no chance of survival" and would need resuscitation after birth.
