Ahead of the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh, 18 BJP leaders, including two ministers and six lawmakers, quit the party after they were denied tickets for the upcoming polls. After resigning, the leaders have joined the National People's Party (NPP). The leaders alleged the BJP of dynasty politics by giving three seats to state CM Pema Khandu.
