An 18-month-old boy in Delhi's Karol Bagh was kidnapped and "sold" for ₹45,000. The child was rescued by police from UP's Mahoba, leading to the arrest of five people. Investigations revealed that a UP-based man, who has two daughters, wanted to have a male child and offered up to ₹1 lakh to the accused, who planned to abduct the child.
