India's 18-year-old armless archer Sheetal Devi on Saturday created history by winning gold medal at the World Archery Para Championships 2025 in South Korea's Gwangju. She defeated Turkey's world number one Oznur Cure Girdi 146-143 to bag the women’s compound individual category gold. She is the first-ever armless female archer to become a world para archery champion.
