Bengaluru-based 18-year-old boy, Nihar Thakkar, has developed an artificial intelligence and sensor-based bicycle counter, which is said to be the first in India. The counter has been installed in Doddanekundi. He said, "[It's] powered by an AI-sensor camera and a machine learning-based algorithm where the data provided can be used to encourage cycling and to build more dedicated cycle lanes."
