The Supreme Court has confirmed the admission of 18-year-old Siddhant Batra to IIT Bombay after he mistakenly clicked the 'withdraw' link from the online admission process. The court had last month directed the institute to grant Batra, who secured an all-India JEE rank of 270, interim admission. However, it stated that this will not be treated as a precedent.
