19-year-old British cyclist Finlay Tarling dies after crash during Portugal race

British cyclist Finlay Tarling died aged 19 after a crash during Stage 8 of the Volta a Portugal on Friday. Portuguese broadcaster RTP reported that Finlay collided head-on with a non-race vehicle travelling in the opposite direction. The NSN Development Team rider was the younger brother of cyclist Josh Tarling. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
