19-year-old Chinese swimmer wins more gold medals than 37 countries at Asian Games

Chinese swimmer Zhang Zhanshuo has won more golds at Asian Games 2026 than 37 countries, including India, so far. The 19-year-old claimed seven golds, comprising individual titles in the 200m, 400m, 800m and 1,500m freestyle and three relay victories. India have won four gold medals so far. Zhang is the first swimmer to win seven golds at one Asian Games.
