19-year-old Mirra Andreeva becomes youngest French Open champion in 34 years, gets ₹31 crore

World number eight Mirra Andreeva of Russia defeated world number 114 Maja Chwalinska of Poland in Roland Garros 2026 final on Saturday to win her maiden Grand Slam title. The 19-year-old won with scoreline of 6-3, 6-2 and became the youngest French Open women's singles winner in 34 years. She won a prize money of €2.80 million (around ₹31 crore).
