A 19-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi died by suicide after her mother reprimanded her over excessive mobile phone usage. The deceased, Pooja Chaurasia, locked herself inside her room and hanged herself from a fan hook. Reports stated that the incident occurred on Thursday after an argument between the two escalated over watching social media reels.
