Lance Havildar KG George (retd), a Vir Chakra awardee for his bravery in the 1965 India-Pakistan War, passed away in Kerala aged 95, his family said on Sunday. He died at his residence in Kottayam due to age-related ailments, his grandson Remo John said. His funeral will be held in Kottayam after some of his family members arrive from Dubai.
