India's 1983 Cricket World Cup winner and TMC MP Kirti Azad's wife Poonam Jha Azad passed away on Monday. Taking to X, Kirti wrote, "My wife, Poonam no more. Left for her heavenly aboard at 12:40 PM. Thank you all for your good wishes." Poonam had joined AAP in 2016 before quitting the party in 2017. She then joined Congress.
