19th-century Bhoot Bangla, water treatment plant in Mumbai to be restored

The Mumbai Heritage Conservation Committee (MHCC) has given its nod to restore a deserted inspection bungalow constructed in 1860 also officially known as Bhoot Bangla and the water treatment plant at Tulsi lake constructed in 1879. Restoration of the bungalow may cost over ₹1 crore and restoration of the filtration plant will cost around ₹15 crore, according to BMC.
