19-year-old Alcaraz wins US Open 2022, becomes youngest men's world number one in history

Spain's 19-year-old Carlos Alcaraz defeated 23-year-old Casper Ruud of Norway in the final to win US Open 2022 men's singles title. It's Alcaraz's first-ever Grand Slam title victory. He won the final with scoreline of 6-4, 2-6, 7-6(7-1), 6-3. Alcaraz has become the youngest men's world number one in tennis history, breaking Lleyton Hewitt's record (20 years and 9 months).
