Spain's 19-year-old Carlos Alcaraz has become the first player ever to beat both Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal in the same clay court tournament. Alcaraz defeated world number one Novak Djokovic 6-7 (5-7), 7-5, 7-6 (7-5) to reach the Madrid Open final. He had earlier defeated Nadal 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 in the quarter-final of the tournament.
