Around 1,000 people dressed as Pikachus participated in a parade in Japan on Sunday to celebrate the festival called 'Pikachu Tairyou Hassei-Chu' or 'An Outbreak of Pikachus'. The annual event debuted in 2014 to celebrate the release of the Pokémon movie. The festival which spans over seven days aims to attract tourists to the city.
