Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday announced that once international travel resumes in India, the first five lakh tourist visas will be issued by the government free of charges. The scheme is applicable till March 31, 2022, or until the first five lakh visas are issued, she said. "One tourist can avail benefit only once," said Sitharaman.
