The first-ever double century in ODI cricket was scored by former Australian woman cricketer Belinda Clark, who turns 48 today, against Denmark in 1997. Clark smashed 229*(155), including 22 fours, to help Australia put up 412/3, the second 400-plus team total in 50-over cricket. Clark is only one of the two players to score a double century in women's ODIs.
