Flannery Associates has unveiled first renderings of the new city they plan to build from scratch on 55,000 acres in California. The planned city is being backed by Silicon Valley billionaires, including venture capitalist Marc Andreessen and LinkedIn Co-founder Reid Hoffman. It aims to build a walkable city with solar farms, open land and good paying local jobs.
