Nearly 2,000 gold and silver coins were stolen from the Denis Diderot House of Enlightenment museum in France on Sunday, hours after jewellery worth over ₹800 crore was stolen from the Louvre Museum in Paris, according to a statement by authorities. The coins dated back to the 18th and 19th centuries and were reportedly valued at $104,000.
