Researchers have decoded a 2,000-year-old scroll buried by Mount Vesuvius, revealing it was authored by Greek philosopher Philodemus. Using 3D X-ray scans and AI, the team virtually unwrapped the fragile papyrus, marking a major breakthrough in recovering ancient texts. The scroll was found in a villa likely owned by Julius Caesar’s father-in-law.
