As many as 2,500 chickens have died within three days after a mysterious disease hit the poultry farms of Telangana's Wanaparthy, a District Veterinary and Animal Husbandry officer said. Around 117 deaths took place on February 16, 300 on the next day and the remaining died on February 18. Samples from the site have been sent to lab for testing.
