Scammers defrauded two people in Bengaluru of ₹26 lakh by using deepfake videos of Infosys Co-founder Narayana Murthy and Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani. The deepfake videos promoted investing in stock market through 'FX Road' on Facebook. After the victims invested large sums of money in the platform, they received no returns. Both the cases have been registered by police.
