2 club members arrested for pandal collapsing announcement days after Kolkata stampede

Kolkata Police have arrested two members of the Chor Bagan Sarbojanin Club who allegedly announced that the pandal was collapsing, triggering a stampede that killed 19 people. A six-member SIT is probing the incident, which took place on October 17. Earlier, police had said there was no evidence to suggest that the pandal was at risk of collapsing.
