Two canyons on the Moon, which are comparable in size to Arizona's Grand Canyon, got carved by flying rocks in less than ten minutes when an asteroid or a comet smashed into the lunar surface 3.8 billion years ago, scientists have said. The two canyons are located on the far side of Moon. Each canyon is over 165 miles long.
