Two people were arrested after a candidate was allegedly asked to remove sacred thread before entering exam hall to appear for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in Karnataka's Kalaburagi. "The staff were questioned and legal action has been taken against them," an official said. Both were released on station bail since it was a bailable offence, he added.
