Two people were apprehended for "defacing public property" by painting activist Sonam Wangchuk's mural on public walls in Assam's Guwahati. Police are also trying to identify individuals who painted Wangchuk's mural on a pillar two days ago, an official said. The two were apprehended after a police patrol party found them, and they admitted they were painting Wangchuk's picture.
