Two people were killed and 17 were injured after a Mexican Navy training ship crashed into New York's Brooklyn Bridge, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said. The ship's 147-foot masts were too tall to clear the arched bridge and toppled when the vessel sailed underneath. A police official stated that mechanical issues had probably caused the crash.
