Two labourers were killed and eight were injured after an under-construction bridge collapsed on Rishikesh-Badrinath highway in Uttarakhand on Wednesday morning, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) said. "Two people died on the spot," SDRF spokesperson said. Rudraprayag DM, who visited the spot along with the officials concerned, said a high-level probe will be conducted into the matter.
