2 longest-serving employees quit Zoox days after Amazon acquisition: Report

After Amazon acquired self-driving car startup Zoox in June, two of its longest-serving and most senior engineers reportedly left the startup to work for Waymo. James Philbin and Marc Wimmershoff, who had been with Zoox for five years, left the startup just three days after the acquisition. Reportedly, early employees were offered some financial kickbacks as part of the deal.
