2 merchant vessels collide off Gujarat coast

Two merchant vessels, MV Kmax Emperor and MV True Mariner, collided off Kandla's outer anchorage in Gujarat. The Indian Coast Guard safely evacuated 21 of 24 crew members aboard MV Kmax Emperor, while three stayed onboard to support operations. The Coast Guard also activated pollution-response measures and is coordinating with authorities to ensure maritime safety and prevent coastal pollution.
