2 MHA officials arrested for seeking bribes to aid FCRA registration

Delhi Police on Tuesday arrested two Ministry of Home Affairs officials for allegedly seeking bribes from an association in return for facilitating its registration under her Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). The officials, a senior accountant and an accountant, were arrested following a tip-off by the ministry. The Act governs how organisations receive and use money from outside India.
