Two NEET-UG aspirants, 24-year-old Riya Kumari in Uttarakhand's Dehradun and 22-year-old Umesh Mali in Rajasthan's Sikar, have allegedly died by suicide days ahead of the re-examination scheduled for June 21. While the recently cancelled exam was Mali's third attempt, Riya had also given multiple attempts. Both of them left suicide notes in which they apologised for taking such extreme steps.
