Two pregnant women underwent surgery under torch and mobile phone light at Bihar's Jamui Sadar Hospital after a power outage affected the operation theatre for nearly 45 minutes. Doctors continued the procedures after the generator failed to provide immediate backup. According to reports, their surgeries were already in progress when the power supply went out.
