Wildlife protection and forest officials rescued two red sand boa snakes in Mumbai's Goregaon and arrested three people, police said. Following a tip-off, Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) and Forest Department officials laid a trap and apprehended the accused who'd come to deliver the reptiles to someone. Reportedly, sand boas are used for making medicines, cosmetics and in black magic.
