Government hospitals across West Bengal observed a two-minute silence from 11.00 am to 11.02 am in memory of postgraduate trainee doctor Abhaya, who was raped and killed at RG Kar Hospital on August 9, 2024. State Health Minister Dr Sharadwat Mukherjee also observed silence. "As long as we live, we'll go through this pain...won't get her back," Abhaya's father said.
