20°C best temperature for all life to thrive, finds study

A recent study suggests that all species on Earth tend to thrive at an "optimal" temperature of 20°C. This includes animals, plants, and microbes in both air and water. Temperatures above 20°C become increasingly suboptimal for biodiversity across various domains of life and could lead to a decline in species richness of landscapes, researchers wrote in The Conservation.
