The 2008 Malegaon Blast trial, which began in December 2018, saw over 323 prosecution witnesses and eight for the defence. Nearly 40 witnesses turned hostile. More than 10,800 documents were examined over five different judges. Final arguments concluded in April 2025, with the verdict finally delivered by Judge Lahoti after nearly two decades of legal proceedings.
